RoHS Marks
Identifying Environmental Marks

The RoHS directive has taken effect in July 2006 and requires elimination of six substances from products: lead, mercury, cadium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl either (PBDE). The directive goes hand-in-hand with the WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive which requires a recycling plan for electrical products that are sold Europe.
